Ananthan Sadagopan is the child of immigrants from India.

Ananthan Sadagopan grew up in Westborough, Massachusetts as the child of immigrants from Chennai, India. Growing up, his parents immersed him in culture, teaching him Tamil, the Vedas, mridangam, and emphasizing the importance of education.
