I chose Harvard BBS because of its interdisciplinary approach to biomedical research and the opportunity to explore a broad range of scientific questions. I was drawn to an environment where diverse perspectives and approaches come together to tackle complex biological problems, and where I could learn from researchers across different fields while challenging myself to think beyond the boundaries of a single discipline.
I’m currently completing my PhD rotations and exploring research directions in cancer biology, with a particular interest in cancer biomarkers and their potential to improve early detection and treatment. Through my PhD, I hope to deepen my understanding of cancer biology while contributing to research that bridges fundamental discoveries and meaningful advances in patient care.
