Maggie Hoare

Maggie completed her BS in Biochemistry at the University of Rochester, where she studied global methionine oxidation utilizing mass spectrometry in Sina Ghaemmaghami’s Lab. Maggie currently studies lysosome homeostasis in Wade Harper’s Lab. Specifically, she utilizes proteomic and cell biological approaches to understand lysosomal damage in Parkinson’s Disease cell culture models. Outside of lab, Maggie loves to travel and explore new cities.
